Workshop presented at the XI Bienal de Matemática São Carlos/SP, which took place on August 2, 2024.
Abstract: Fractals, characterized by their complex geometry and artistic appeal, will be presented in an accessible manner using Iterated Function Systems of linear contractions and translations in one and two dimensions. Using software, students will be able to draw and generate their own fractal images. Bella Figliaggi and Zheng Bian are the authors of this workshop, and Bella Figliaggi and Lucas Makeawaka are the instructors.
